Nothing goes better together than cider and cheese! Join us in gathering apples from the orchard and bringing them to the cider press to create the most popular drink of colonial times, cider. Visitors can also learn how we made cheese in the 18th century, as well as apple cider vinegar. Don’t miss a visit with our farm animals, see us cooking a meal on our hearth, and learn how we make clothes from wool and flax. End your visit by raising a cup of cider in appreciation of the hard work of the day.
The Plantation is open 11:00am to 4:00pm, with last admission at 3:00pm. Admission is $10.00 for adults, $6.00 for children ages 4-12. Members visit free! You may purchase admission at the door.
