Phil & Jim’s Steaks & Hoagies

Phil Cerami and Jim Landis founded Phil & Jim’s Delicatessen in 1962 in Parkside, PA. The original concept was built around their take on the famous Cheesesteak sandwich, which originated in Philadelphia in the 1930s. The concept was simple: sell the greatest tasting cheesesteaks and hoagies in a friendly and fast casual atmosphere.  The shop is now owned by Costa and Dan Miller, cousins who grew up locally and worked at Phil & Jim’s in the 80’s and 90’s.  Both Costa and Dan have Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Management degrees from Penn State and have been in the hospitality industry for 35 years.
