Philadelphia has long had a deep music history. Whether it’s the instantly recognizable sounds of the Mummers, the classic hits of native artists like Chubby Checker, Bobby Rydell, and Patti LaBelle, or the institution of Dick Clark’s American Bandstand, it goes without saying that when it comes to music, we can bring it. And one of the best places around to catch live shows is Upper Darby’s Tower Theater.
Since it’s opening in 1972, the Tower stage has seen performances by hundreds of classic artists including Paul Simon, Neil Young and David Bowie who all have recorded live shows there. Today, the Tower continues to rise above the Philly music scene with rockin’ performances all year long.
