Nothing’s S’More Fun than Tyler in Winter

January 2020

One of Tyler Arboretum’s coolest family programs is the annual January Night Hike & Campfire!

How is nature different after dark?

Do humans have the ability to adapt without light? And if so, how?

Find out on January 11th, 6:30 – 8pm when Tyler Arboretum invites your family to explore your senses (and the arboretum!) by the light of the moon. If you’ve never taken a nighttime hike, there’s nothing like it to get your spidey senses working…these are the senses you didn’t even know you had!

Then everyone ends up around a campfire with delicious treats all around! There’s something magical about a crisp winter’s night, under a winter moon, surrounded by family and friends, old or new. The event is suitable for ages 5 and older and there is a $15 admission.

Foodies mark your calendars! Longtime Executive Chef Ryan Sulikowski will share his love of food and expert skills in the art of preparation in a series of cooking classes at Tyler‘s Edible Garden Kitchen, Jan. 11th & 25th, and Feb. 16th

Join Chef Ryan Sulikowski for one or more fun afternoons where you can chat and ask questions as he prepares amazing dishes right in front of you! Enjoy a 3-course meal filled with delicious locally-sourced ingredients and exclusive recipes never tasted before. He’ll also share tips and tricks for making your home meals seem like they came straight out of a restaurant kitchen. PLUS…he’ll be taste-testing new dishes he’s considering for the menu at his new restaurant in Media, so come ready to eat and critique!

Each class is 1 to 4pm and features different foods, so join the fun for one or all of these dates.

Admission is $75, and you can call 610-566-9134 for details and registration. Because classes include adult beverages, participants must be 21 years of age.
