Some of the most memorable holidays begin at Linvilla!

December 2019

Linvilla Orchards has over 40,000 Christmas trees planted on the farm, so make a special memory this year and take the family on a hayride to their Christmas tree fields. Now through December 23rd you can select and cut down your own tree. Your family will never forget the experience, and you don’t even need to bring a saw!

The majority of Linvilla’s trees are 6′ to 10′ Douglas Firs. You’ll be driven to the tree fields in a hay wagon pulled by a giant tractor. They can not only provide a saw for you to cut your tree, they can also haul it back, shake the loose needles, wrap it up and even tie it to your car! (But having the family tie it on the roof is waaaay more fun!) TIP: They can also drill a hole in your tree if you use a “Stand Straight” Christmas Tree Stand.

Your family is also invited to gather around a campfire for warmth, cider and marshmallows. Roasting sticks are included!

  • Hours (last wagon departs for the tree fields at 4pm)
  • Mon to Fri: 10am – 5pm – Weekends: 9am – 5pm
  • Select any cut-your-own tree for just $79.99 plus tax. Everything is included for one price.

Santa, Storytime, and Holiday Treats Galore

Linvilla Orchards is one of the most popular destination farms in the state, and throughout the holiday season literally hundreds of families arrive each week to savor the treasured holiday smells, sights and activities that make them such an integral part of Delco’s holiday magic.

Their December Calendar provides dates and times to listen to choirs and bands, enjoy beer gardens, and bring your children to see Santa. There are also special Storytime experiences that little ones will long remember, plus caroling hayrides and more.

Famous holiday pies, breads and other treats!

Any treats you buy at their Farm Market and Bakery should come with a warning label: “THESE MAY NOT MAKE IT HOME!”

That’s because some of the finest and most famous baked goods in the region have been purchased here for over 50 years. Hugely popular items include pies like the Dutch Apple Crumb, Pumpkin, Cherry and Coconut Custard. New and inspired varieties include: Chocolate Chip Pecan, Peach Melba and Sweet Potato Crunch.

There are also several ‘no sugar added’ pies, plus all kinds of cakes and their famous Cider Doughnuts! Fresh baked breads include Italian, Sourdough, their X-Seedingly Good bread, Challah, Sun-Dried Tomato, and even old-fashioned pull-a-part breads.
