The Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation
Aren’t you tired of being cooped up in the house all these months? Grab the kids, don your winter coats (like the sheep above), and spend a brisk March day at the Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation! Closed for the winter, it officially opens Saturday, March 30th from 11 am to 3 pm.
The fact is, spring arrived this month, whether it feels like or not! And the Colonial Plantation is already springing to life with new growth, hoeing, raking and tilling of the fields, not to mention the arrival of some new farm animal babies! So spend a few hours with their costumed Colonial interpreters — visit with your favorite animals – tour the historic buildings and learn amazing Colonial crafts and skills! Experience life as it was in the 18th century, before electricity, plumbing, and texting.
After all that, it seems wrong somehow to end this story by sending you to their website for more information…but that’s the 21st Century for you! 🙂 Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation Website
