Get Swept Up in the Music!

March 2019

They say “March Comes in Like a Lion…and Leaves Like Lamb.”

The same could be said for great classical music, which can blow in like a storm – rip out your heart – and then do it again, by wooing the ear with consummate tenderness…

That makes March the perfect time to get swept away by the rare music and talent of our Delaware County Symphony Orchestra. The musicians are story-tellers who lift us out of our everyday lives and carry us on a musical carpet ride of emotions.  Mark your calendar now for Sunday, March 3rd, at 3pm at the Meagher Theater of the Thomas A. Bruder Center at Neumann University.  The acoustics are superior and the program is outstanding:

The Program:

  • Symphony No. 2, “Antar” by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov
  • Horn Concerto by Reinhold Gliere, featuring Jennifer Montone
  • Suite from Lieutenant Kije by Sergei Prokofiev
  • Suite from Masquerade by Aram Khachaturian

Tickets are $20 or $17 — Free parking is adjacent to the theater — and the Life Center is handicapped accessible. For details call 610-879-7059 or visit Delaware County Symphony Website
