Go ‘Dancin in the Streets’ on NYE!
Each year hundreds of people spend New Year’s Eve dining at one of Media’s many restaurants. Choose your favorite place, or discover a new favorite from their global menu of eateries that includes everything from a Mexican Cantina to a French Bistro, Italian Grills, an Irish Pub, Breweries, Asian cuisine, Mediterranean fare and more. One of Media’s popular Indian restaurants, Shere-E-Punjab, is inviting people to a special NYE party featuring live music by Roger Girke from 8pm to 1am. Check out this restaurant and many other Media hot-spots at Visit Delco, PA.
Make reservations early because not only is the food outstanding – the ‘after party’ is awesome!
Philly Gumbo Band performing on stage
As early evening slips closer to midnight, the shops along State Street are wrapped in holiday lights and bathed in the warm glow of street lamps, giving the town a ‘Hallmark movie’ quality that begins to lure diners out of the restaurants where everybody is greeting everybody, laughing, and hugging until suddenly a live band starts playing…
This year Philly Gumbo returns for a wild and crazy NYE encore performance starting at 11pm. Their pulsating mix of New Orleans R & B, blues, funk, soul and reggae will have everybody dancing on State Street long before 2020 actually arrives!
The night turns electric when the crowd turns towards Spasso Italian Grill, to watch as Media’s glittering NYE ‘ball’ takes center stage. Hundreds of diners, visitors, neighbors and friends eagerly countdown the seconds as the ball begins to drop…and 2020 arrives!
