Terrifying Ghosts Haunt Hedgerow Theatre!
Hedgerow is famous for its annual Christmas production of A Christmas Carol. Each year the performances are mesmerizing, and each year we are reminded of the brilliance of Charles Dickens.
This month Dickens returns to the stage, where his eerie skill in penning ghostly characters comes alive again in a spine-chilling play by Hugh Janes, that is based on several of Dickens’ original ghost stories.
In an Ancient, Crumbling Mansion, Two Men Stumble Across a Dark and Terrifying Secret that will Change Both of Their Lives…
A young book dealer, David Filde, is employed by a former associate of his uncle to catalogue a private library, where he finds an incredible array of rare and antiquated books. But as a series of strange and unexplainable events conspires to keep Filde from his work, he realizes that if he is to convince his skeptical employer that the mysterious phenomena he is experiencing are real, they must journey together to the very edge of terror, and beyond…
And just in case you worry that the play won’t be scary enough, 45 minutes prior to each performance Ghost stories will be shared in the gallery…setting the perfect mood. Directed by Jared Reed. Show photos by Kyle Cassidy
