Back by Popular Demand – Emmet Cahill Performs at UDPAC March 14th
Ireland’s most popular Irish Tenor is not only part of the world famous Irish singing group, Celtic Thunder, he has also launched his first solo album, enjoyed a world-wide tour, appeared on numerous TV shows, and performed at many special events like this one – all this at only 29 years old.
In fact, Emmet performed at the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center last year, and the response was sensational. This former “Irish Tenor of the Year” literally brought tears to people’s eyes with his rendition of Danny Boy.
In the five years that Emmet has toured as a solo artist, he’s hit many milestones, including performing to a sold-out crowd at New York’s Carnegie Hall in 2018. His debut orchestral album “Emmet Cahill’s Ireland,” a compilation of traditional Irish songs and ballads, was accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland and went straight to Number #1 on the Billboard, Amazon and iTunes World Music charts.
