Step Back in Time...

June 2019

Become an eyewitness to history, as the Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation becomes the backdrop for scenes from the French and Indian War on June 22nd.  Watch the local militia led by a Rogers’ Ranger as they discover a French raiding party and witness the skirmish which ensues (skirmishes at 12:00pm and 2:15pm.)

Visit the French and British campsites and talk to the soldiers about their uniforms, weapons and strategy for fighting in the wilderness of the frontier. Demonstrations of colonial weapons and 17th and 18th century money will be ongoing throughout the day.
