There’s Magic in the Air at Linvilla Orchards

November 2019

Linvilla Orchards is one of the most popular destination farms in the state, and throughout the fall and holiday season literally hundreds of families arrive each week to savor the treasured holiday smells, sights and activities that make them such an integral part of Delco’s holiday magic.

There’s something for everyone in the family, from going fishing at Orchard Lake to taking a Harvest or Autumn Moon Hayride. Throughout November there are cooking and baking demonstrations, a Straw Bale and Corn Maze, plus Beer Garden & Winery Weekends. Children love meeting the farm animals, the pony rides, costumed characters, and face painting. Even teens go crazy for the Pumpkin Ring Toss and Apple Flinging (with a Lacrosse stick!).

November 16th & 17th

Food Truck Frezy

Don’t miss Linvilla’s hugely popular Food Truck Frenzy weekend! Like a Pied Piper the scent of food being grilled outdoors magically lures you to a RESTAURANT ROW of FOOD TRUCKS, all parked in one kid-loving, parent-pleasing happy place. From meats to treats and fruits to juices, just follow the crowd.

Starting November 23rd

Cut Your Own Tree

If you’ve never cut down your own family Christmas tree, now is the time, and Linvilla’s the place to find it.

Your family tree adventure begins with a hayride to one of the Christmas tree fields to select your tree. Most are 6′ to 10′ Douglas Fir, but there are also some Canaan Fir. Linvilla provides a saw for you to cut the tree, and then they haul it back to the lot, shake the loose needles, wrap it up and can even tie it to your car! They can also drill a hole in your tree if you use “Stand Straight” Christmas Tree Stands.

  • Hours (last wagon departs at 4pm)
  • Mon to Fri: 10am – 5pm – Weekends: 9am – 5pm
  • (Closed Thanksgiving Day)
  • Price: Select any cut-your-own tree for just $69.99 plus tax. Everything is included for one price.

Don’t have the time to cut your own? Deck your halls with trees, wreaths and all kinds of natural decorations found at their Garden Center. There are poinsettias in red, white, pink, and salmon, plus a vast selection of amaryllises, holly, ivy, Christmas roses, Christmas cacti, Christmas bells, mistletoe and roping for that festive touch.

But there’s even more to see & do!

Visit Linvilla Farm and See the Animals

Visit The Barnyard where year-round residents include friendly white-tailed deer, calves, goats, horses, ducks, birds, emus, peacocks, and an adorable pot-bellied pig. These barnyard friends are out every day and would love to see your smiling faces.

On the subject of holiday eats, few visitors leave without at least one bag of Christmas cookies that should come with a warning label that says THESE MAY NOT MAKE IT HOME… 😉

That’s because Linvilla’s Farm Market and Bakery should be called ‘Holiday Central’ for all things baked, frosted, whipped, canned, sauced and freshly picked! Their pies have been famously adored for over 50 years, the most popular of which are the Dutch Apple Crumb, Pumpkin, Cherry and Coconut Custard. New and inspired varieties include: Chocolate Chip Pecan, Peach Melba and Sweet Potato Crunch.

There are also several ‘no sugar added’ pies, plus all kinds of cakes and their famous Cider Doughnuts! Fresh baked breads include Italian, Sourdough, their X-Seedingly Good bread, Challah, Sun-Dried Tomato, and even old-fashioned pull-a-part breads.
