How scary can a tour of an 18th Century farm be? Very. Scary.

October 2019

Relive 300 years of the area’s most mysterious, frightful and TRUE tales of terror–thoroughly researched, all local, and super spine-chilling. This historically-accurate and soulful tour of a working farm, takes place against an eerie backdrop of farm animal sounds, night birds and things that go bump in the night. After all, it is one of the most haunted properties in Delaware County.

The ghost stories come to life as you start the journey on a torch-lit path. Learn the strange and inexplicable ways that colonists memorialized the dead. Then enter the wagon barn and c. 1720 farmhouse to hear a story in each room that tells of bizarre events from times long past.

Each year new stories, facts, and phenomena are research and prepared. Tours last about 1.5 hours and start every 30 minutes. Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and bring a flashlight. Tickets sell out quickly, and are $13. Appropriate for ages 10 and up.

Join the Plantation’s search for ghostly guests with real life Ghost Hunters at this “Spirits at Sunset” fundraiser.

A unique, adults-only event, learn about the haunted heritage of this historic c. 1720 farmhouse and property while enjoying an equally haunted happy hour featuring specialty themed cocktails and light bites. You’ll chat with ghost hunters, examine their equipment, and hear the ghostly evidence they’ve found, thus far.

After the cocktail hour guests will split into smaller groups to conduct a ghost investigation in four of the property’s historic buildings. Best of all, any images and evidence of hauntings will be uploaded to a website accessible only to those who participate!

Guests must be 21 or older. The event is rain or shine, and the cocktail hour begins at 6:30pm; hunt commences at 7:30pm. Tickets are $ 40pp. Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation Tickets & Information
