Delco has a long tradition of raising, training, and nurturing some of the country’s top athletes in almost every sport, at every level! From amateurs and professionals to ground-breakers and barrier-busters, The Sports Legends of Delaware County Museum in Radnor is a cool summer place for fans of all sports to browse art and artifacts, films, books, memorabilia and archives honoring Olympians, champions, athletes who beat the odds, and those who set records that still stand today!
This jersey, on loan from Brad Nau shown here with museum curator Jim Vankoski, was worn by Mickey Vernon while he was the batting coach of the 1975 Dodgers. The Museum is open Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm and Saturday from 11 am to 1:30 pm.
