Mark your calendars, grab your family and friends, and get ready for a fresh festival season full of live music, delicious food, cultural celebrations, outdoor adventure, and more.
Dining Under the Stars (May 3 – September 27)
Every Wednesday, the Borough closes State Street to vehicular traffic from 5-11pm. This allows Media’s great restaurants and shops to set up outside (right across the trolley tracks!) for the biggest, most fun, alfresco shopping and dining event around. You’ll find kids drawing with sidewalk chalk, see store owners chatting with patrons, and hear music echoing between the buildings. It’s a like a little bit of the weekend right in the middle of the work week
Rose Tree Park Summer Music Festival (June 21 – August 20)
Can’t beat a free concert, right? Especially if it’s held at a scenic outdoor amphitheater at one of Delco’s most beautiful parks. Best of all, the festival’s programming is so eclectic that you never know what you’re going to get — anything goes, from classical to Cajun, Motown to rock or Broadway and everything in between.

Delco Nite Market Festival (August 8)
A seasonal celebration showcasing Delco’s diverse entrepreneurial landscape and vibrant arts and culture scene. These roving, festive gatherings will be held monthly throughout the summer and feature delicious food, local arts and live music.
Glen Providence Park: Arts in the Park (August 12)
The Friends of Glen Providence Park presents a variety of free, family-friendly musical performances throughout the summer months. Enjoy afternoon performances on the lawn in front of the historical concert stage, then walk two blocks into town for dinner and shopping on State Street. Rain dates are the Sunday after each scheduled performance.

A day of archaeology fun and discovering the rich archaeological heritage that lies beneath our feet! Activities include: assisting archaeologists with excavations, cleaning artifacts in the lab, “Kids Dig” and Pottery Assembly, archaeology displays & exhibits, food vendors and more! This annual event is held in partnership with the Delaware County Planning Department.

Marcus Hook Pirate Festival (September 17)
