Players Club of Swarthmore

It might seem improbable that a high-quality community theater would spring up as a result of a women’s club fundraising event more than a hundred years ago, but that’s exactly what happened. From that humble beginning, the Players Club of Swarthmore now produces seven mainstage shows a year, as well as a series of smaller, more avant-garde productions and a regular schedule of children’s theater performances.
PCS has its own dedicated theater (built on donated land just over the border in Springfield Township) and a well-known reputation for talent, professionalism, and showmanship. All we know is that the show must go on — and we will be sure to be there when it does.
