At the heart of every great American town is a well-loved, well-used, neighborhood park. Whether it is the smallest town square with a single flagpole and some flowerbeds or New York City’s expansive Central Park, outdoor spaces everywhere give people an opportunity to play, relax and enjoy nature with their family and friends.
Here in Delaware County, there are several such parks to choose from, but the largest – and perhaps the busiest – is Rose Tree Park. As the focal point of Delaware County’s park and recreation system, Rose Tree’s expansive 120 acres allow plenty of space for all kinds of outdoor activities including kite-flying, bird-watching, dog-walking, Frisbee playing, cross country running, picnic eating and more.
