Tyler on Tap
Although not as popular a pairing as Soup & Sandwiches or Bacon & Eggs (yet!), Beer & an Arboretum…go together better than you might imagine!
Tyler Arboretum is one of the oldest in the northeastern United States, encompassing 650 acres of renowned plant collections, heritage and champion trees, historic buildings and 17 miles of hiking trails. Beer has been around even longer, first produced at least 7,000 years ago! In fact, it is one of the oldest and most widely consumed alcoholic drinks in the world, and the third most popular drink overall after water and tea.
Bring the family to Tyler Arboretum Friday nights: August 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd – where plenty of outstanding brews from Aston’s 2SP Brewing Company will be on Tap from 5:30 to 9pm. There will also be several food trucks and lots of science-related tables for kids and adults alike. Each week the ‘beerboretum’ will pop up in a different location within Tyler, so make this your family’s August Weekend Kick-Off Party! Donations gratefully accepted for admission.
