Tyler Arboretum

If Media is “Everybody’s Hometown,” then Tyler Arboretum is “Everybody’s Backyard.” As one of the largest arboreta in the northeastern United States, Tyler’s 650 acres offer year-round seasonal joy and color.
Tyler is jam-packed with family-friendly fun year-round.  From February’s annual Pancake Breakfast and Maple Sugaring Celebration, Earth Day celebrations and the spring and summer months marking an explosion of color, with azaleas, hydrangeas, lilacs and meadow wildflowers in bloom.
With its 17 miles of hiking trails (including an ADA-compliant Scenic Loop), along with historic and state champion trees, seasonal tree houses, meadows, woodlands, charming gardens, and a lively, ever-changing program of events, programs, walks, talks, and tours catering to all ages and interests, Tyler Arboretum offers spaces and places for escape, nature discovery, and quiet reflection.
