Did you know that the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge was America’s first Urban Wildlife Refuge?  This beautiful marsh and woodland setting welcomes more than 80,000 visitors a year – mostly birds of course! They stop in on their way north and south.  But it’s also a beloved, rare and beautiful place for hikers, canoers, birdwatchers, and nature lovers of all kinds. For great photos and more info:
